Do I have to apply a credit limit every time when I have a shipment to make to a buyer ?

Normally not, as the credit limit is “revolving”. When payments are received from your buyer, further shipments can go forward under the cover, provided that the maximum amount of credit outstanding at any one time does not exceed the credit limit amount and the payment terms are not longer or more risky than the ones shown in the credit limit.
